Lighting and fan questions
Can you install a ceiling fan where there is only a light?
Yes. The existing box is usually not rated for a fan, so we replace it with a fan-rated box and brace, then hang and wire the fan. If there is no switch loop for a separate light and fan, we can add one.
Do you supply the fixtures or do I buy them?
Either. Many customers pick out fixtures themselves and we install them. If you want recommendations on what holds up, we are glad to help.
Can you add a dimmer to my existing lights?
Usually, yes. LED fixtures need a compatible dimmer or they flicker and buzz. We match the dimmer to the fixture.
Do you do lighting for businesses?
Yes. Office, retail, warehouse and parking lot lighting is covered on our commercial pages, and we do it under the same license.
