What does a hot tub need electrically?
Most residential hot tubs need a dedicated 240-volt circuit with GFCI protection and a disconnect located within sight of the spa. The exact circuit size depends on the spa model. Send us the spec sheet and we will quote it.
Can my existing panel handle a pool?
A pool adds a pump, often a heater and lighting, and sometimes a spa. That is a lot of new load. We check the panel first and, if a service upgrade or subpanel is needed, quote it with the pool wiring.
What is pool bonding and why does it matter?
Bonding connects all the metal parts in and around the pool so no two of them can be at different voltages. It is what keeps a swimmer from becoming the path between a ladder and the water. Older pools often have it missing or broken, and it is worth checking.
